Bologna Ragazzi Awards 2022
Geweldig nieuws!
Elk jaar worden in Bologna, het mekka van het kinderboek, de Bologna Ragazzi Awards uitgereikt. Een internationale jury van experten maakte dit keer een selectie uit 2215 inzendingen van maar liefst 62 verschillende landen.
In de categorie Non-fictie kreeg het Portugese ‘Para que serve?’, dat wij vertaalden naar ‘Waar dient het voor?’, een Special Mention (naast nog drie andere titels)
En de jury zei er -onder meer- het volgende over:
“A book that, beneath its initial manual-like appearance, conceals a very interesting philosophical narrative about the why of things. Simple (but not simplistic) and powerful illustrations and texts highlight the humorous poetics of the first and last pages. This book is remarkable in its use of warm, tactile illustrations in a non-fiction context.”
